KWS UK Ltd. is looking for a talent to join our breeding station for a 15-Month Industrial Placement starting from July 2026 to September 2027. This opportunity will be based in Thriplow near Cambridge.

Want to see your knowledge applied in the real world? Our talented team is willing to train you and develop your skills!

Your student placement experience will be varied, interesting and intensive, giving you the opportunity to work across a wide range of crops.

You can expect us to:
  • Help you maximise your opportunity to learn and develop
  • Provide a bespoke, extensive training programme, which may include industry qualifications such as NPTC Pesticide application courses
  • Train you in the use of a range of agricultural machinery and equipment
  • Give you the opportunity to gain an insight into a successful plant breeding company


You are:
  • Studying for an agriculture/plant breeding related degree
  • Enthusiastic and interested in agriculture, preferably plant breeding
  • Appreciative of our brand values (Closeness, Independence, Foresight, and Reliability)
  • Committed to learning, the placement and contributing to our success
  • A flexible team player
  • Holder of a full driving license
