We are seeking a motivated Agronomy Summer Student to support our Agronomy team at our Crossfield Agro Centre and assist with tasks such as crop scouting, soil sampling, and general operational duties. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a positive attitude in maintaining a clean and safe work environment. A background in agriculture is beneficial.
Position: Agronomy Summer Student
Term: Temporary contract (April to September 2026, approximately)
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities:
- Assist with crop scouting and field trials to gather data and support agronomy decisions
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests
- Maintain the chemical shed and ensure safe storage and handling of chemicals
- Deliver chemicals as required, following safety and operational guidelines
- Perform some general operational duties to support facility needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
- Computer skills
- Attention to detail and quality
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
