Reporting directly to the Owner, this role will suit an experienced cropping professional who enjoys taking responsibility, making decisions and helping drive productivity. The successful applicant will be someone the owner can rely upon to assist with planning, directing staff and maintaining efficient day-to-day operations. An immediate start is available for the right person.

- Become the owner's trusted right-hand person with genuine involvement in planning, decision-making and day-to-day operations.
- Lead and support year-round hay production while operating and overseeing modern cropping equipment and irrigation systems.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist the Owner with planning, coordinating and directing cropping operations and production activities.
- Maintain continuous hay production under Reinke pivot irrigation systems throughout the year.
- Operate and oversee machinery including tractors, balers, loaders, ploughs, spreaders, trucks and associated equipment.
- Coordinate staff activities while ensuring machinery, infrastructure and farm assets are maintained to a high standard.
- Previous cropping experience with strong machinery operating skills.
- Irrigation and/or pivot experience highly regarded.
- MC Licence advantageous, but not essential.
- Positive attitude with honest, reliable and professional work habits.
- Commitment to securing a long-term permanent role and working effectively within a team environment.
- Attractive remuneration package negotiated according to skills and experience.
- Comfortable 3-bedroom family home provided; suitable for a single person, couple or family. Primary school within close proximity.
