Their approach combines practical agriculture, soil science and technology, with a strong belief that carbon farming must make sense for the producer and their farming system.
Their work connects regenerative agriculture and soil carbon with outcomes such as improved soil health, productivity and resilience. Backed by specialists across agronomy, mapping, project delivery and R&D, they are now looking for a Carbon Farming Advisor to grow their Queensland portfolio.
The Role
This is an opportunity to bring your agricultural knowledge and interest in regenerative agriculture, soil health and sustainability into a growing area of Australian agriculture.
Working directly with landholders throughout Central and South East Queensland, you'll understand their farming systems, management objectives and commercial priorities before assessing whether soil carbon farming presents a practical opportunity. You don't necessarily need to arrive as a carbon farming specialist; strong practical agricultural knowledge, producer credibility and the ability to learn the technical and regulatory requirements are central to the role.
Your duties will include (but not be limited to):
You may already work in agronomy, agricultural advisory, grazing or cropping systems, natural resource management or agricultural business development. Alternatively, you may have built your experience practically within agriculture and be looking for a role where productive farming, better soils and environmental outcomes come together.
What matters is your ability to sit down with producers, understand how their business and property operate, build trust and turn complex information into practical conversations.

You'll also have the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge of soil carbon methodologies, ACCUs and project development while contributing to projects designed to deliver benefits extending beyond carbon, including soil health, productivity, resilience and long-term land stewardship.

- Build trusted relationships with producers, landholders and industry advisers.
- Develop and manage a structured Queensland territory and opportunity pipeline.
- Assess farming systems, soils, land use and management history for project potential.
- Explain carbon farming opportunities, obligations and risks in practical language.
- Work with specialists to develop practical project and land management approaches.
- Guide suitable opportunities through assessment, approval and project development.
- Represent the organisation at property visits, field days and regional industry events.
You may already work in agronomy, agricultural advisory, grazing or cropping systems, natural resource management or agricultural business development. - Experience building credible, long-term relationships with producers or landholders.
- Ability to independently manage a territory, portfolio, pipeline or engagement cycle.
- Commercial judgement and confidence assessing opportunities, constraints and risks.
- Comfortable learning and using technology, systems and technical information.
- Strong organisation, record keeping and follow-through.
- Willingness to regularly travel throughout regional and remote Queensland.
