Our NWP farm is home to both a commercial and purebred cattle herd as well as a sheep flock. The farm provides support to the Veterinary Science program as well as providing research opportunities.

- calving and lambing, care of the animals,
- feeding, watering & monitoring animals
- maintenance of facility,
- maintenance of equipment,
- field work,
- other duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will need the following experience and skills to be successful in this role:
- Calving experience and general farm duties (lambing experience not necessary)
- Feeding, watering & monitoring animals
- Ability to run some equipment (Skid steer, tractor, bale processor)
- Comfortable working with large and smaller animals
- Ability to lift 25 kilograms
- Labor and maintenance experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules and independently
- Ability to work in unpredictable weather conditions
- Helping set up labs for Animal Health and Agriculture programs
