The Cattle Handler is responsible for working closely with livestock, maintaining barns and facilities, and operating farm equipment to support daily farm operations. This position requires prior experience handling large animals, the ability to perform physically demanding work, and a willingness to work primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with livestock including cattle, pigs, horses, deer, and other large animals.
- Assist with the daily care, handling, and movement of livestock.
- Clean and maintain barns, pens, fences, and other farm facilities.
- Perform general property and grounds maintenance.
- Operate and maintain various types of farm equipment.
- Follow established animal welfare and safety protocols.
- Support additional farm operations and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Stable work history with demonstrated reliability.
- Previous professional experience working with large animals required.
- Experience working outdoors in non-climate-controlled environments.
- Ability to consistently lift and carry 50+ pounds.
- Ability to lift 20+ pounds overhead.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Position is performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Work involves frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and other physical labor.
- Exposure to livestock, farm equipment, dust, noise, and agricultural environments is expected.
