Pay Details
- Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,500
- Bonus: $5,000
- Miles/Week: Approximately 1,024
- Pick up and deliver live chickens from local poultry farms to the facility.
- Transport chickens using a flatbed trailer.
- Average of 3 inbound loads per day.
- Secure chicken cages to the flatbed using a cheater bar.
- Navigate challenging farm roads with grades, bumps, and ditches.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured.
- Live haul experience is preferred but not required.
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Start times between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM
- Home daily
- Required to work 1-2 Saturdays per month
- Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day off
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to secure chicken cages using a cheater bar
- Ability to drive on difficult farm roads
- Willingness to perform physically demanding live-haul work
- Flatbed trailers
- Automatic day cab trucks
- Trucks cannot be taken home during time off
- Dedicated live-haul operation
