Are you ready to kickstart your future in agriculture? MacEwen Agricentre is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Crop Assistant to support growers with crop input solutions, field scouting, and agronomic services.

What You'll Do:

  • Support senior Crop Advisors with field scouting, soil sampling, and crop assessments

  • Help implement crop input plans tailored to each grower's needs

  • Learn how to write fertilizer prescriptions and recommend crop protection products

  • Assist with customer service, product education, and follow-ups after applications

  • Contribute to business development projects and internal sales initiatives

  • Maintain accurate digital records of customer interactions and field activities

  • Participate in in-house training, supplier sessions, and field tours

  • Represent MacEwen Agricentre at grower meetings, events, and ag shows


What You Bring:

  • Diploma or Degree in Agriculture (or a related program) preferred

  • Valid Class G driver's license with clean abstract

  • Bilingual (English/French) - preferred

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Detail-oriented with a strong desire to learn and grow

  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours during peak season
