Crops Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Crop Specialist to join our agricultural team. This role is essential in ensuring the effective management of crop production processes and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a background in agriculture and farming, along with hands-on experience in various technical skills related to crop production. Wages per year will be discussed in the interview.

Responsibilities

• Recommend specific chemical treatments, biological controls, or integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.
• Conducts soil tests and builds fertilizer nutrient plans to feed crops efficiently.
• Inspects fields to monitor crop growth and detect weeds, insects, or plant diseases early.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to implement effective strategies.

Requirements

• Responsible for sales and delivery of product.
• Degree in agronomy, crop science, plant/soil science, or general agriculture.
• Formulate, implement and enforce proper data collection policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards and new developments specific to your position.
