Experienced Greenhouse Workers

About this role

  • Maintain greenhouse plant material year-round through watering, pruning, spacing, and general plant care.
  • Move, transplant, and organize plants, trays, pots, and growing supplies as needed.
  • Work indoors in the greenhouse and outdoors when weather permits to support daily production tasks.
  • Monitor crop condition and help keep growing areas clean, tidy, and free of debris.
  • Assist with basic greenhouse equipment use, setup, and routine upkeep.
  • Load, unload, and prepare plant orders, supplies, and materials for internal movement or pickup.
  • Follow safety procedures and report any plant health issues, pests, damage, or equipment concerns.
  • Support the greenhouse team with seasonal and day-to-day tasks to meet production needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of greenhouse, or nursery experience is required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail when caring for plants and maintaining orderly work areas.
  • Willingness to work cooperatively in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Comfort working year-round in indoor greenhouse conditions and outdoors when weather permits.
  • Basic knowledge of plant material care, tools, and greenhouse routines is an asset.
  • Ability to work in Canada and reliable transportation to the worksite in Rocky View County.

Terms of employment

Full-time, year-round employment with 40 hours per week. Permanent position after successful probation period.
