TRUCK & FARM EQUIPMENT SKILLED OPERATORS

River Ridge Farms is a large livestock and 12,000 acre cash crop family owned farming operation. We strive to be environmentally responsible with continuous improvements as early adopters of new innovations, utilizing the latest technology. Equipment is updated and replaced regularly to maintain a high level of productivity.

Responsibilities

• Driving semi for transporting farm commodities
• Operating farm tractors and other modern day large farm equipment
• Performs routine servicing of farm equipment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Farm and/or large equipment operating experience
• CDL class A endorsement or Michigan Farm Stamp
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs frequently
• Workloads relate to seasonal demands, hours may vary between 40-75 hours per week
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude, self-starter, team player, pride in workmanship

• Hourly pay of $22-$28 + overtime (based on experience)
