Seiler Farms is seeking a dependable, full-time Farm Hand to join our family-owned cash grain operation near Auburn, Indiana. We farm approximately 4,300 acres of corn, soybeans, and wheat and manage our own planting, harvesting, crop applications, grain drying, and storage.
Responsibilities
- Operate planters, combines, tractors, trucks, and other farm equipment
- Assist with planting, spraying, fertilizer application, and harvest
- Haul grain, fertilizer, seed, and other agricultural inputs as needed
- Dry, handle, and store grain
- Perform equipment and truck maintenance and repairs
- Help with building maintenance, custom work, and other general farm duties
- Maintain accurate records and follow safe operating practices
Qualifications
- Previous row-crop farming or agricultural equipment experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment repair skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to work additional hours during planting and harvest
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Leadership or farm-management potential is a plus
