Through this position, you will be working with a forestry technology company in a production logging environment. This position is 95% travel throughout California and the Pacific Northwest and requires extensive periods away from home. You will be working independently and as a team with engineers, technicians, & customers, on the cutting edge of smart machine technology. In this exciting position, you will be working with a team to install, diagnose, and monitor proprietary software applications specific to the forestry industry.

Location: Based out of Slater, Iowa. Traveling required throughout the Western United States including (California, Oregon, Washington).
Compensation: Salary Range $60,000-$70,000/ yearly. All travel expenses paid by Sage Ag Inc. Benefits available to full-time employees.

Responsibilities:
- Install sensors, cameras on customer owned forestry equipment
- Reporting machine issues directly to design engineers
- Gathering critical machine information and test data
- Gathering data and uploading data to software engineers
- Performing frequent software updates
Requirements:
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 in an engineering major
- Mechanically inclined
- Strong technology and computer troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to travel for six weeks or more at a time
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License w/ clean driving record
- Out-going
- Positive attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a team environment & alone
- Ability to work long hours, some night operation will be necessary
- Ability to keep accurate & detailed records of work performed
