Grain Elevator Operator

Glacial Plains Cooperative is hiring a Grain Elevator Operator to join our team in Murdock, MN (about 2 hours west of Minneapolis). In this role you will work directly with local farmers and producers while helping keep the day-to-day operations of our grain facility running safely and efficiently.

What You Will Be Doing

• Receive, store, handle, blend, dry, and ship grain while maintaining grain quality.
• Manage the movement and flow of grain throughout the elevator and storage facility.
• Operate agricultural equipment and machinery, including skid loaders, pay loaders, tractors, and other grain-handling equipment.
• Load trucks for outbound grain shipments and assist with loading trains as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized grain-handling, storage, and work areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures and help maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist the Grain Operations team with additional duties and facility needs as assigned.
• Work occasional nights or weekends when needed for train loading, harvest, or other operational demands.

What We Are Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous grain elevator, grain handling, agriculture, farming, or related experience preferred.
• 5+ years of grain handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating farm equipment, agricultural equipment, or heavy machinery is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and remain detail-oriented.
• Dependable team player with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
