- Plant, space, and move bedding plants, shrubs, and other greenhouse stock as directed.
- Lift and carry trays, pots, soil, and supplies weighing up to 15 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Stand for long periods, bend, crouch, and reach while completing planting, watering, and general crop care tasks.
- Water, fertilize, and perform routine cultivation to maintain healthy plants and growing areas.
- Keep work areas, benches, walkways, and equipment clean and organized to support safe production.
- Load, unload, sort, and stock product and materials for greenhouse operations and orders.
- Follow safety procedures, hygiene standards, and quality instructions at all times.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including repetitive lifting of up to 15 pounds, standing all day, bending, and crouching.
- Previous greenhouse, nursery, farm, or general labour experience is an asset, but training can be provided.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail when handling plants and materials.
- Able to follow instructions, work independently when needed, and function well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in warm, humid, and fast-paced greenhouse conditions.
- No formal education required; ability to understand basic work instructions in English is necessary.
