Groundsman - Full Time - Temporary - Hurlstone Agricultural High School

About the Role
To be successful in the role you will need to have strong planning, prioritising skills and good communication skills to enable you to work effectively with others. Within this role, you will work independently and within a team environment.
You will perform a range of tasks relating to the routine maintenance and upkeep of the school grounds, specialist sporting areas and Departmental equipment such as lawnmowers and watering systems. You will identify and report maintenance and safety issues. Other related duties of the role, within the skills and competencies of the Groundsman as directed by the Business Services Manager.

Essential requirements
• Certificate III in Sports Turf Management, Horticulture or similar and/or relevant experience maintaining grounds and playing fields;
• Previous experience operating mowers, tools and equipment associated with the maintenance of grounds and watering system.
