Guest Services Gift Shop Support - Dillard House, a Farm Resort

Company Overview: The Dillard House, a Farm Resort is a new addition to the Legacy Ventures portfolio and will be an exciting adventure as we build on what the Dillard family has developed since 1917. This one-of-a-kind property is nestled in the picturesque Tennessee River Valley within a two-hour drive north of Atlanta in Rabun County. It will represent tradition with authentically sourced cuisine, numerous outdoor activities and outstanding southern charm and hospitality.

Summary: As a Resort Gift Shop Support you contribute to the overall guest experience by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-stocked and attractive shop environment, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your role is essential in promoting guest satisfaction and generating revenue for the resort through merchandise sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences.
• Provide information about merchandise, such as pricing, features, and benefits.
• Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
• follow cash handling procedures.
• Arrange merchandise displays attractively to showcase products and promote sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
• Assist with receiving shipments and verifying merchandise received against purchase orders.
• Ensure the gift shop is clean, organized, and well-maintained always.
• Familiarize yourself with the features and benefits of merchandise to effectively assist customers.
• Respond to guests immediately upon entering the lobby, 10-5 Rule should be always maintained.
• Interacts with internal and external customers in a positive, professional and accommodating manner.
