Horticulture Specialist / Landscaper (Full-Time, Year-Round)

Schedule typically consists of Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Are you ready to turn outdoor spaces into vibrant, welcoming environments? Willow Valley is looking for a full-time Horticulture Specialist / Landscaper to help maintain and enhance our beautiful outdoor spaces in Willow Street, PA.

What You'll Do as a Horticulture Specialist / Landscaper
  • Coordinate our annual flower program-select, order, and plant gorgeous blooms
  • Perform groundskeeping tasking including trimming, pruning, mulching, and maintaining landscape beds, trees, and shrubs
  • Keep our grounds spotless-pick up litter, rake leaves, and shovel snow (be a winter hero!)
  • Water lawns, shrubs, and annuals to keep everything lush
  • Diagnose and treat plant pests and diseases-be our plant doctor!
  • Coach and train new team members, and help with special projects
  • Be a friendly face-answer questions and help guests, residents, and the public
  • Operate snow removal equipment and winter grounds maintenance
  • Perform other hands-on tasks to keep our property looking its best

What You Bring as a Horticulture Specialist / Landscaper
  • A love for the outdoors and working with people
  • High school diploma or GED (horticulture experience is a plus!)
  • Valid PA driver's license (required for full-time)
  • Pennsylvania Commercial Pesticide Applicators License (a plus)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
  • Basic computer skills (we'll teach you our system)
  • Safety-first mindset and a knack for solving practical problems. This is a Safety Sensitive Position as defined in the Drug Free Workplace Policy.
