ABOUT THE POSITION

Ellens Equipment is a family-owned agricultural, construction, and landscaping equipment dealer offering equipment sales, parts, and service. We are seeking a personable, dependable Inside Sales Representative for our Ithaca location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome walk-in customers, identify sales opportunities, and proactively develop new business.
• Build lasting relationships with customers, contractors, and local business partners.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, customer contacts, sales forecasts, call logs, and equipment quotes.
• Price equipment, evaluate trades, and sell, rent, or lease new and used equipment.
• Promote New Holland, Bobcat, Doosan, and other leading equipment lines while maintaining strong knowledge of residential and commercial mowers and compact tractors, including features, specifications, applications, and customer needs.
• Ellens Equipment carries some of the top brands in the industry.
• Stay current on equipment, attachments, sales programs, and financing options through training and sales meetings.
• Provide consultative product recommendations, demonstrations, inspections, and technical assistance.
• Coordinate deliveries, equipment setup, startup, and operator familiarization.
• Understand precision agriculture applications and support agricultural and construction equipment
  customers.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Equipment or agricultural sales experience preferred (5+ years ideal). Construction equipment
field experience preferred, but not required. Familiarity with skid steers, track loaders, excavators, wheel
loaders, tractors, and related equipment is a plus.
Education: Business or agriculture-related education preferred, but not required.
Skills: Strong communication, customer service, math, negotiation, and computer/CRM skills; willingness to
work flexible hours.
Physical: Ability to safely operate and transport equipment, mount and dismount machines, stand or squat
as needed, and lift up to 40 lbs.
