Lead Plant Maintenance Technician
Founded in 1929, Giroux's Poultry Farm is a fourth-generation, family-owned business hiring a Lead Plant Maintenance Technician to join their team in Chazy, New York.
What began as a small family farm has grown into one of the region's premier egg producers, with the Giroux family continuing to lead the company's growth while staying true to the values it was built on. Through a fully vertically integrated operation, Giroux's manages nearly every step of the process in-house, from growing and milling much of its own feed to egg production, processing, packaging, and transportation. The company’s commitment to responsible farming extends beyond poultry production through sustainable practices, including recycling poultry manure into fertilizer and operating additional agricultural ventures such as Chazy Orchards.

This role will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain efficient production operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical, electrical, and automation troubleshooting skills, including PLC diagnostics, along with proven maintenance experience. This position requires a proactive, quick response to equipment issues and work through preventive maintenance programs.
We offer a competitive hourly pay rate, health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with match, and PTO. The hours for this role will be 50 hours a week; half days on Saturdays are expected.
