Local Truck Driver - CDL Optional

Yoder Grain is hiring a Local Truck Driver – CDL Optional to join our team in Bluffton, IN (about 20 miles south of Fort Wayne). In this role, you’ll safely transport grain, equipment, materials, and other agricultural products while supporting the day-to-day needs of our operation. We’re looking for a dependable driver who takes pride in their work, cares for their equipment, and provides reliable service. A CDL is preferred but not required.

Yoder Grain is a growing agricultural and equipment operation based in Northeastern Indiana. We operate a large fleet of trucks, tractors, loaders, farm machinery, agriculture equipment, and heavy construction equipment that keeps our operation running year-round.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Safely operate company trucks to transport grain, equipment, materials, and other agricultural products.
• Complete primarily local and regional routes, allowing you to return home regularly.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload products and equipment safely.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, fuel, and vehicle inspection records.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and applicable DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers, equipment operators, and supervisors regarding deliveries and scheduling.
• Keep assigned trucks clean and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Assist with basic farm, yard, or equipment-related tasks when driving needs are lighter.
• Represent Yoder Grain professionally while interacting with customers, vendors, and members of the community.

This job is for you if you have:

• Previous truck driving, farm driving, delivery, or equipment operation experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• A CDL is preferred but not required.
• The ability to safely operate trucks and agricultural equipment.
• A dependable, safety-focused, and responsible approach to your work.
• The ability to work independently and manage changing routes and priorities.
• Willingness to work flexible or extended hours during busy planting and harvest seasons.
• The ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading, securing, and inspecting materials and equipment.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
