JOB OPENING Date: July 6, 2026 Starting Date: As soon as possible POSITION Job Title: Maintenance Manager Location: Love County, Okla. Direct Supervisor: Joe Mendes, Vice President COMPENSATION Base Salary: $80,000-$100,000, depending on experience Benefits and Policies:
- Health insurance for employee, spouse, and dependents. - Three weeks PTO per year, increases to four weeks after one year of employment with Raptor Ag. - Matching 401K (dollar for dollar match, up to 6% salary). - Annual bonus potential. In year’s when Raptor Ag is profitable, employee, with satisfactory
performance, is eligible for a bonus up to 10% of employee’s annual salary. After three years employment, bonus potential increases.
- Raptor Ag covers cell phone bills, up to $100 per month, and any computer equipment needs. - There may be weeks when poor weather conditions cancel tasks for one or more weekdays.
Additionally, there may be weeks when vital orchard tasks are being administered. As a result, employees are occasionally asked to work weekends and/or more than 40 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license. Agree to allow Raptor Ag to periodically check driving record. - Willingness to submit to a background check, drug test and random drug tests. - Experience with diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, pumps, irrigation systems preferred. - Mechanics training certification and/or degree preferred.
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES Raptor Ag manages a large acreage position of pecan orchards in south-central and southwest Oklahoma. The company requires an Maintenance Manager to work with the Vice President and team in all facets of farming operations, with the goal to maximize operational performance.

We look to grow our high-quality operation and work as a team which has mutual respect, good communication, and a safe work environment. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager include:
1. Coordinate with supervisor and assistant operations team on schedules and set up equipment to be ready for each day’s needs.
2. Develop, perform and track equipment service schedules.
3. Oversee required equipment mechanical work. This includes any scheduled work or in-field breakdowns or equipment repairs.
4. Perform any needed fabrication work, if capable.
5. Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance sections of shops.
6. Assist with design, installation and programming of irrigation systems. Maintenance manager will be
the go-to person for system programming and irrigation system training. From time to time, maintenance manager will be asked to train other employees on irrigation system operations, along with assisting in irrigation system maintenance and repairs. This includes servicing equipment during the irrigation season; pulling pumps, filtration systems and associated equipment each winter for service; and consulting on potential irrigation system changes and/or upgrades.
7. If requested by company, assist with design and installation of nut wash/dry facilities. Additionally, the operation and upkeep of any such facilities may be assigned to maintenance manager.
8. Attend applicable continuing education classes and attend pecan industry functions.
