You will be responsible for the activities in the R&D Agriculture program and provide technical support to customers.

What You'll Be Doing:

Be part of a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter.

Responsible for maintaining quality standards in the department.

• Provide high level technical support to agriculture customers in a defined application area, involving customer visiting and carrying out experimental programs.

• Assume position of key technical lead and specified customers. Build relationships with key technical decision makers and influencers to persuade customers to include Croda products in their approval programs.

• Be recognized as an authority in a defined market/product area. Promote Croda's image through presentations at trade exhibitions and conferences.

• Provide product support and guidance to customers according to the regional and global development plans. Develop solutions to the customer problems which are sometimes complex and not always with a complete data set.

• Provide training to the sales team, agents, and customers.

• Coach and develop staff through effective use of performance management techniques.

• Allocate short- and medium-term projects (from a few days to more than one year) to self and other members of the team.

• Plan, run, and monitor progress on all projects to deliver results on time.

• Have a creative and viable approach to support new product launches and existing product ranges, including development of new test methodologies, and creation of novel finished formulations for promotional means.

• Identify opportunities for new projects.

• Enhanced knowledge of market areas and relevant scientific techniques and communication with the business as appropriate.

• Aptitude in customer-facing role.

• Experience in crop protection in agriculture markets.

• Application and product knowledge related to the agriculture market served.

• Effective team player and relationship builder.

• Background in laboratory experimental work, preferably in related areas.

• People and project management skills.

• Creative and tenacious, with good planning and problem-solving skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Degree in relevant discipline such as chemistry, marketing, or other related scientific discipline.
