Working with growers and dealers across Australia, they combine local agricultural knowledge with extensive international agronomy and irrigation expertise. The Role
Reporting to the Director of Agronomy, Product and Market Development, you will lead the development of subsurface drip irrigation opportunities within broadacre cropping.
You will turn existing market analysis into a practical market-development strategy, validate priority crops and regions, establish trials and partnerships, and build the commercial case for broader grower adoption.
Approximately 80% of the role will focus on market development, with the remaining 20% supporting wider regional agronomy requirements.

You will be comfortable working independently across a large territory, developing relationships from the ground up and moving between paddock-level agronomy, research partnerships and commercial discussions with growers and dealers.

- Develop and execute a three-year broadacre market-development plan.
- Identify priority crops, regions and growers for subsurface drip irrigation.
- Establish and manage field trials, demonstrations and commercial plots.
- Build relationships with growers, dealers, researchers and industry partners.
- Develop joint initiatives with research, government and commercial organisations.
- Provide practical agronomic advice on irrigation, scheduling and fertigation.
- Work with regional sales teams to progress opportunities into commercial adoption.

- Proven experience within agriculture, ideally across broadacre farming systems.
- Strong practical understanding of crop agronomy and grower decision-making.
- Experience identifying and developing new markets or commercial opportunities.
- Ability to develop a market plan and convert it into measurable outcomes.
- Strong relationships and communication skills across agricultural stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and undertake regular travel across VIC and NSW.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how technical adoption drives sales.
