To perform all functions of manure processing to make it a higher quality product and meet Herbruck’s strictest quality standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate fertilizer machinery
- All augers and conveyors
- Rotary drum dryer
- Bag house and Cyclone
- Pellet mills
- Work on conveyance
- Run equipment to process manure
- Lubing of equipment
- Perform maintenance on equipment
- Operating heavy wheeled loaders, scissor lifts and boom lifts
- Cleaning maintaining of equipment
- Any other duties assigned by management
- Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect or breach of bio-security to preserve the health and welfare of our birds
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
- Able to work around moving machinery comfortably
- Working in a farm environment with very dusty conditions
- Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds
- Valid Driver’s License.
