Planter Service Tech

Leola, PA

Our Leola service department is looking to add an additional planter service tech to their Team. This full-time position will service planters both in the shop and on the road.

Primary area of responsibility:

  • Set-up, service, and repair agriculture equipment with a focus on Planters and Related Ag Technology Equipment.
  • Participate in training to increase and improve knowledge of Planters and other equipment represented by the Company.
  • Represent the interest of Agriteer, LLC in a manner consistent with its vision, mission, and Core Values.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, modification, and repair multiple brands of equipment as directed by Planter Shop Manager in a timely and accurate fashion, specifically set-up of new Planters, and rebuild or repair work on used Planters (on-site as well as at the Customer location).
  • Fabrication, assembly, and electrical on basic and technically advanced systems
  • Start as shop position with some road time, and growth potential into a road position.
  • Learn the various products to ensure that accurate, detailed, and timely records are maintained and completed on work orders.
  • Honor our customers by focusing on quality service in an efficient and effective manner while optimizing billable time, and by treating customers’ property with the utmost integrity.
  • Project a professional and courteous attitude as defined by Agriteer, LLC.
  • Any other task assigned by manager.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical basics.
  • Adequate tool inventory.
  • Ability to work well in a Team environment.
  • Communicates well – verbally, nonverbally, and in writing.
  • Strong Customer focus with the capacity to “flex” to quick changes in scheduling, adjusting personal work schedule as necessary.
  • Basic computer skills (research, communication, etc.).
  • Dependable – meets commitments, works independently, accepts accountability, and makes wise decisions in alignment with Company aspirations.
  • High level of attention to detail and best practice repeatability.
  • Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Possess valid Driver’s License and ability to get medical card for operating company service trucks.
  • Willingness to embrace and model the Agriteer, LLC Core Values.
