Sage Ag Inc. is currently seeking hardworking, self-motivated, & detail-oriented individuals who are
passionate about agriculture & machinery. Through this position, you will be working with a major
agricultural machinery manufacturer in a field test environment. This position will require moderate
travel. As a Power Systems Technician, you will be providing in-field technical and mechanical
support on new Power Systems products and will help to play a key role in enabling further product
development by supporting the test activities of proprietary equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve emerging issues on off-road diesel engines and aftertreatment systems using
troubleshooting skills and interactive tools
• Develop solutions and provide product technical support to test site teams, and vehicle partners on
new product issues
• Coordinate and support installation of experimental parts
• Travel to test sites to help investigate in-field issues and provide corrective action
• Participate in developing product improvement programs
• Provide technical support for vehicle electrification programs during development phases
• Interact professionally with customers
• Hands on repairs when working with the equipment/engines when needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Ag Engineering, Agricultural Systems Technology, Mechanical Engineering,
Diesel Technology, or combination of education and directly related experience
• Experience with diagnosing electrical, mechanical systems found on off-road equipment
• Prior experience diagnosing, repairing and operating large farm machinery
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Strong diesel engine and aftertreatment system knowledge
• Excellent technology and computer troubleshooting skills
• Must have positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Professional presentation and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work individually and as a team with engineers and technicians
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to attend and demonstrate outstanding performance on electrical/electrification training
and safety courses
• Ability to keep accurate & detailed records of work performed
• Willingness to Travel up to two weeks at a time

Details:

Job Duration: Full Time
Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Compensation: $50,000- $60,000 (DOE), paid travel expenses
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k with company match
