Sage Ag Inc. is currently seeking hardworking, self-motivated, & detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about production agriculture & machinery. Through this position, you will be working with a major agricultural machinery manufacturer in an experimental field test environment. Position requires minimal travel within the United States during the season (May-December). In this position you will be performing field testing on combines/front end equipment and will help to play a key role in enabling further product development by supporting the test activities of proprietary equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute system-level software test plans and test cases.
Field Testing and product development of combines
• Perform software verification in lab, simulation, and machine environments.
• Validate new features, software updates, and defect corrections.
• Analyze test results, diagnostics, and logs to identify issues.
• Document test results, defects, risks, and release recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software releases.
• Improve test coverage, automation, and verification processes.
• Work collaboratively with other Engineers and Technicians
• Performing full system tests on combines, setting and optimizing equipment
• Performance testing of automated systems
• Design and fabrication of test parts
• Collect and analyze data to draw conclusions and make recommendations
• Present findings in meetings
• Interact professionally with customers
• Provide professional opinions and advice to engineering on how new features are meeting customer demands.
• Hands on repairs when working with the equipment when needed
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Ag Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field in Agriculture, Engineering or Computer Sciences
• Field Testing experience
• Prior experience operating large farm machinery
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Experience working with complex mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to work and adapt in dynamic, fast paced environment
• Must have positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Professional presentation and demeanor
• Ability to work individually and as a team with engineers and technicians
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to keep accurate & detailed records of work performed

• Familiarity with Creo/ 3D modeling
