Equilume’s, founded in 2012 in Ireland, science-driven products are trusted by leading breeding farms, racing operations, and sport ? horse programs worldwide. Our blue and red-light technology replicates the natural benefits of daylight to support your horse’s overall health by regulating internal rhythms and helping the body function in harmony with its environment. As we expand our presence in the United States, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vice President of Sales to accelerate growth and strengthen our market leadership.
The VP of US Sales will own the commercial strategy, revenue performance, and expansion of Equilume’s footprint across the US equine Industry. You will report to the CEO and manage the US sales team made up of 7 individuals. Customers include direct sales and retail accounts. This role requires a dynamic, hands ? on leader with a proven ability to build and scale sales organizations, develop strategic partnerships, and deliver consistent revenue growth in a specialized market.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a US commercial strategy to achieve aggressive revenue and market ? expansion targets
- Build, lead, and scale a high ? performing US sales organization, initially operating as both leader and key account driver
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with major breeding farms, racing operations, veterinarians, distributors, and industry partners
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships to accelerate adoption and brand visibility
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy and product positioning
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and maximize commercial impact
- Own forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, and CRM discipline
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met or exceeded
- Represent Equilume at key industry events, conferences, and customer engagements
- Manage sales budgets, pricing strategies, and expense controls to ensure profitability
- Foster a culture of accountability, scientific credibility, customer focus, and continuous improvement
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales development, team management, and market growth and exceeding revenue targets
- Ideally bring experience in equine, animal health, or ag ? tech sectors
- Strong network within the US equine industry (breeding, racing, veterinary, or performance sectors)
- Expertise in hybrid sales models (direct, distributor, and channel partnerships)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Highly organized with excellent project ? management capability and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven ability to influence cross ? functional teams and collaborate effectively at all levels
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship ? building skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across the US
