Job Type Temporary Description POSITION PURPOSE: The primary function of this position is to timely assist patrons/trucking personnel with weighing trucks, taking grain samples and keeping an accurate record of grain movement at designated location(s). Flexible hours available. RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Handle incoming/outgoing grain by weighing trucks</li><li>Obtain grain sample and test grain for quality purposes</li><li>Accurately keep record of sample test results</li><li>General maintenance of grain scale equipment, keeping things neat and clean. Notify supervisor of any safety concerns</li><li>Communicate with location personnel of incoming/outgoing truck traffic and grain quality issues</li><li>Provide excellent customer service and assist patrons</li><li>Additional duties may be assigned by management</li></ul> Requirements BASIC REQUIREMENTS: <ul><li>High school diploma</li><li>Availability to work extended hours</li><li>Computer and data entry skills</li><li>Must be able to follow directions and effectively communicate with others</li><li>Agriculture background preferred but not required</li></ul> PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS <ul><li>Must be able to work in grain dust</li><li>Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position</li></ul> Salary Description $18-$21/ Hour
