Situated at Harts Range in the Northern Territory, approximately halfway between Alice Springs and the Queensland border, this established cattle station offers a unique opportunity to experience genuine station life in one of Australia's iconic pastoral regions. During mustering, around 18 people live and work on the property, supported by an experienced station cook and contract mustering team, creating a busy yet welcoming environment.

This role is expected to commence immediately & go on for an 8-to-10-week period. Reporting directly to station management and would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative and is happy to pitch in wherever needed. It's ideal for a reliable, practical person looking for a short-term station position in a remote location. The position is available immediately, with one (potentially two) vacancies available.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Operate the station store/roadhouse, providing customer service and general retail duties.
• Feed poddy calves and chooks while assisting with routine animal care.
• Complete homestead cleaning, gardening, pool maintenance and general presentation duties.
• Carry out rubbish removal and assist with a variety of general station jobs as required.

Selection Criteria:

• Ability to multitask and move between retail, homestead and general station duties.
• Current driver's licence.
• Physically fit, healthy and capable of working in a remote station environment.
• Reliable, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Additional Particulars:

• Air-conditioned single accommodation, all meals and Starlink internet provided.
• Negotiable remuneration based on experience.
• No dogs permitted on the property (non-negotiable).
• Short-term, full-time position with a minimum of one rostered day off per fortnight.
