Nature & Purpose of Position
The plant and soil science team at Gibbs Ranch is seeking to employ 2-3 work-study students. Students employed for this position will work directly with faculty in support of the plant and soil science program at Gibbs Ranch. They will gain experience in the maintenance of greenhouse and garden spaces. This includes but is not limited to: plant care, plant propagation, weeding, planting seed. They also will perform tasks meant to grow the Sam Houston gardens, such as landscape design, install, and maintenance.
Other Requirements for the Position
Must have own transportation to Greenhouse Facilities and Gibb's Ranch.
