The Undergraduate Research Assistant will assist faculty and staff with laboratory and/or field-based research activities, including sample collection, data entry, data organization, and routine laboratory procedures. The student will primarily be responsible for data collection, data analysis, and preparation of presentation materials. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow research protocols and safety procedures. The assistant will gain hands-on experience in scientific research, data analysis, and professional research practices while supporting ongoing projects.

Must have transportation for travel between SHSU and Gibb's Ranch Facilities
