Job Duties:
This position involves daily animal husbandry for livestock, including administering medications, ensuring proper nutrition, and maintaining clean and safe living conditions. The role requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform routine equipment repairs as needed. Additional responsibilities include supervising inmates while ensuring safety, accountability, and adherence to established procedures
You'd be a GOOD fit if:
You have the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment and consistently lead by example. You should be able to train individuals in the requirements of animal husbandry and possess knowledge of poultry and swine operations. Strong inventory management skills are also essential for success in this role
You'd be a GREAT fit if:
You have experience leading or supervising other individuals, possess knowledge of swine reproduction, and understand commercial swine operations or commercial egg production
