What's on offer?
We're looking for an experienced Technical Agronomist to work with customers and the Ridley sales team, to provide technical information and recommendations that enhance customer confidence in Ridley's fertiliser products (especially enhanced efficiency fertilisers, liquids and blends) and the Nutrient Advantage laboratory.

This is a unique opportunity to influence how agronomic knowledge is shared and applied - both internally and across the broader industry. You'll play a key role in strengthening capability, improving decision-making tools, and ensuring our agronomic advice remains practical, relevant and science based.

In this role, you will:
• Develop and maintain relationships with Customer Agronomists and Consultants.
• Grow sales of Ridley's differentiated product range (enhanced efficiency fertilisers, liquids and blends).
• Work with the Customers to demonstrate the value, purpose, and benefits of proprietary products.
• Grow Nutrient Advantage sample volume and revenue and increase the number of samples that receive a recommendation.
• Provide Agronomy in Practice training and ensure trainees they are using NA and NA Pro.
• Maintain and update Nutrient Advantage rules, logic and data tables.
• Generate and communicate to the business key insights and likely impact on fertiliser demand.

The key skills required for this role include:
• Degree in agriculture, agronomy, soil science or similar
• 5+ years' experience in agronomy, research, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of fertiliser use, plant nutrition and soil science
• Experience in data analysis and interpretation
• Confident communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence
• Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
