Tree and Shrub Manager- This position is a full-time, year-round position in our Trees and Shrubs department. The hours are subject to movement but would ideally be Tuesday - Saturday from 8-4. The daily tasks and responsibilities are: managing the subordinate employees (around 5 give or take), making sure employees stay on task and delegating tasks, ordering plant material for the next season, keeping track of budget, making decisions about the lot and plant material, unloading trucks, moving plants, watering, and customer service. This position starts at $20/hour and has potential for upward or lateral movement. We do require some knowledge of trees and shrubs of this region and customer service experience/managerial experience is highly appreciated. Benefits also include twice annual seasonal bonuses at the end of spring and before Christmas. Bonus amounts can be considerable depending on how much we make during that season and based on your work performance.
