Truck Driver

Location: Carrollton, Missouri

Ray-Carroll is hiring a Truck Driver in Carrollton, MO and Brunswick, MO. In this role, you will safely operate a semi-truck and trailer to transport grain, fertilizer, chemicals, equipment, and other materials while supporting Ray-Carroll locations and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a semi-truck and trailer to transport grain, dry and liquid fertilizer, chemicals, equipment, and other company materials.
  • Follow all local, state, and federal DOT rules and regulations as well as Ray-Carroll policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and properly complete required vehicle inspection reports and log sheets.
  • Participate in Ray-Carroll’s DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain compliance with all applicable safety requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the truck dispatcher, shop personnel, Location Manager, Transportation Manager, and other team members.
  • Monitor trucks and trailers for maintenance and service needs and report issues promptly.
  • Assist with minor vehicle repairs and routine maintenance when needed on the road, in the shop, or at a location.
  • Maintain trucks and trailers in a clean, safe, and professional condition inside and out.
  • Report unsafe conditions, near misses, injuries, and other safety concerns in accordance with company procedures.
  • Provide courteous, professional service when interacting with customers, employees, and member-owners.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, a positive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork, safety, and efficient operations.
  • Support company objectives and perform additional duties as assigned.
