VP of Aftermarket Sales

Tellus Equipment is seeking a Vice President of Aftermarket to lead Parts, Service, Field Service, and Customer Support operations across its 25-location John Deere dealership network.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive leadership position will be responsible for driving aftermarket revenue growth, operational performance, process standardization, and leadership development across the organization. The successful candidate will be a highly visible, field-oriented leader who enjoys working directly with dealership teams, mentoring leaders, and improving customer experience.

What You'll Do
Executive Leadership
  • Lead the overall aftermarket strategy across Parts, Service, Field Service, and Customer Support
  • Partner closely with the CEO, executive leadership team, regional managers, and John Deere representatives
  • Build, coach, and develop regional and corporate aftermarket leaders
  • Drive accountability and performance across all dealership locations
Operations & Performance
  • Drive revenue growth, gross margin improvement, customer retention, and market share expansion
  • Standardize processes and operational best practices across the dealership network
  • Improve labor performance, service efficiency, inventory management, and aftermarket sales execution
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and financial performance management
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve profitability and operational effectiveness
Customer & Dealer Excellence
  • Strengthen customer relationships through consistent service and support
  • Serve as the primary aftermarket liaison with John Deere field teams
  • Ensure compliance with John Deere programs, certifications, and performance standards
  • Travel extensively throughout the dealership network to support teams and drive execution

Ideal Background
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in dealership aftermarket operations
  • Proven success leading multi-location Parts and Service organizations
  • Strong understanding of service operations, inventory management, warranty administration, and aftermarket sales
  • Experience within the John Deere dealer network strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change and improving operational performance
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L performance, budgets, and KPIs
  • Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to spend significant time in the field
