Zook Ag. Products - Sales Representative
We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to build relationships, generate new business, and manage client accounts within our agricultural products division. You will travel to meet clients, conduct presentations, and achieve sales goals.

Essential Job Functions:
- Meets or exceeds sales goals
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization's products/services
- Helps determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions and negotiations
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports
- Gives sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
- Coordinates sales efforts with marketing programs
- Understands and promotes company programs
- Obtains deposits and balance payments from clients, prepares and submits sales contracts for orders and maintains client records
- Answers client questions about credit terms, products prices and availability
- Visits clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
- Adheres to business and employment compliance requirements of the company
- Any other duties as requested directed or assigned by the VP of Sales
- Designated Safety Sensitive Position
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience (Licenses and Certifications):
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the agricultural or food industry
- Ability to travel to and within the assigned sales territory
- Valid driver's license and willingness to operate motor vehicles in the course of employment

- Standard office equipment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- An in depth understanding of the sales process and dynamics
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to build rapport with customers, suppliers, and co-workers
- Ability to proficiently use computers for a variety of tasks, including competence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
