About us
De Grins Oer Dairy is Friesian for 'Over the Border'. Tjerk Okkema and wife Ramona Okkema, moved to the states in 1999 to start dairy farming with 11 cows. The farm has now grown to milking 650 cows and raise all of their replacements on-site. They are very proud of the numerous milk quality awards they have received as a business over the years thanks to all the wonderful employees. The farm strives to keep the "Family Farming" aspect alive and work together with everyone to accomplish the farms goals.
