JobResponsibilities:
- Rough TerrainForkliftoperatoris responsible fortransporting full/empty cage modules to & from cage dump and live haul trailer.
- Ensure thatcages are in good repair prior to placing them back on trailer.
- EnsureTyson Animal Welfare policies are being followed.
- Stop and lower forks when pedestrians are on the loading pad.
- Maintainsteadypace to keep up with line speed.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Maintain & inspect their equipment and report any deficiencies to management.
- Good communicationskills
- Requires a TysonRough terrain forkliftlicense.
- Operatorsare required toinspect their equipment daily.
- Trained in Tyson Animal Welfare policies.
- This position requires the use of steel toeshoes.
- The physical ability tositthroughout the day.Step on/off a forklift safely.
- Must beable to work outsideinthe elements.
- Must be able tomaintainsafety procedures during wet/icy conditions.
