Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position ensures the accurate and timely processing of livestock weight, payment, and reporting information. This position verifies livestock weights, downloads electronic scale data, generates payments to producers and truckers, audits weight and payment records, balances head counts, and prepares recurring plant and corporate reports. The role requires sound judgment, strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize variable assignments while working independently and providing cross-trained office coverage as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Verify livestock weights and download electronic scale-ticket data.
• Generate accurate and timely payments to producers and truckers.
• Audit weight, payment, and related transaction data; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Balance livestock head counts and maintain complete, accurate records.
• Prepare weekly and monthly spreadsheets and reports for plant and corporate personnel.
• Exercise judgment to organize work, establish priorities, complete variable assignments, and evaluate results.
• Communicate professionally with plant and corporate personnel, producers, truckers, and financial institutions.
• Cross-train in all office functions and provide vacation, sick, and other coverage as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Saturdays/Overtime coverage as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3+ years office experience required; 3+yearspayroll experience preferred.
- Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills including using a Tyson Business Computer System as well as Microsoft Office & Excel, SAP Preferred.
- Communication Skills: Requires written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of management.Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others. Assignments aredefinedand the approach to be taken is usuallydeterminedin coordination with others.
