Agriculture Equipment Operator

Our work helps farmers recycle valuable nutrients back into the soil, improving crop yields for the next growing season.

The impact you’ll make

As part of the seasonal crew, you will operate and maintain agriculture and transport equipment to agitate and inject liquid manure directly into the soil. Your work ensures our customers’ lagoons and tanks are emptied efficiently, nutrients are applied evenly and fields are ready for the next crop year.

What you will be doing

  • Operate highway tractors, John Deere tractors, booster pumps, and self-propelled lagoon agitators.
  • Operate 1A highway tractors pulling step deck super B trailers loaded with agricultural equipment.
  • Use remote controlled floating agitators to mix and suspend solids in manure lagoons for uniform slurry.
  • Assist with equipment setup, and cleanup of lay flat hose (8-10 inch) for manure transfer.
  • Perform basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on pumps, tractors, and diesel engines.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, often in a team environment.

What you’ll bring

  • Valid class 5 driver’s license required, G endorsement preferred, willingness to obtain a G and/or 1A.
  • Experience operating large agriculture machinery.
  • Experience with Precision Ag an asset.
  • Mechanical aptitude- able to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
  • Ability to perform manual labor and work long hours during peak season.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.
  • Reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
