Description

At AmeriQual Group, what we do matters. We are looking for a driven, hands-on Continuous Improvement Engineer to help strengthen our operations, improve performance, and support meaningful process improvement across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems with data, leading change on the plant floor, and helping teams adopt practical Lean Manufacturing tools that make work safer, smarter, and more efficient.

As part of the Continuous Improvement team, you will investigate, analyze, and report operational data to address OEE opportunities, support the value stream, and drive sustainable improvements that directly impact productivity, standardization, and team engagement.
What You'll Do

• Lead continuous improvement projects across the organization using Lean Manufacturing tools and methodology.

• Analyze operational data and performance trends to identify opportunities that improve OEE, reduce waste, and strengthen processes.

• Train, coach, and motivate team members in Lean principles, continuous improvement practices, and new ways of working.

• Drive process standardization, implement meaningful metrics, and promote best practices across teams.

• Schedule, conduct, support, and report on Kaizen events and follow-up improvement actions.

• Conduct and analyze time studies to better understand workflows, improve efficiency, and support data-driven decisions.

• Partner with operations, leadership, and cross-functional teams to build a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field required.

• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodology and terminology.

• Experience conducting and analyzing time studies strongly preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Strong communication, presentation, coaching, and team-building skills.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment.

• Self-starter with leadership, administrative, and people skills, including the ability to build rapport and energize employees around shared goals.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and iOS devices.

• Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing project needs.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role includes time in both office and production floor environments. While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear, use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The position may require working in seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, moving objects, and using specialized tools, equipment, and machines. Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits, and other allergens are present.
