This opportunity is with a respected cattle company who operate over an aggregation of cattle stations throughout the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Reporting to the Executive Services Manager, this role would suit an experienced Payroll Officer or HR professional with strong payroll capabilities who enjoys working in a hands-on, varied position. The organisation is open to a range of working arrangements, including payroll-focused or broader HR responsibilities, making this an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexibility. The position is available for an immediate or negotiated commencement.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Manage accurate and timely end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing, including timesheets, leave, allowances and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies across multiple sites.
  • Support HR administration including onboarding, offboarding, employee records and HR systems management.
  • Respond to staff and manager enquiries while assisting with performance management, workers compensation and return-to-work processes.
Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated experience processing end-to-end fortnightly payroll with a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation.
  • Sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards and employment compliance requirements.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, confidentiality and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and build positive working relationships across all levels.
