Our Nursery division offers qualified candidates an opportunity to join our team and work in a professional conifer seedling nursery. Our technologically advanced and innovative conifer nursery is located in the beautiful Shasta Valley of Northern California. Recognizing this being a team-oriented and hands-on position, living in the general Siskiyou County area is essential.

Earn $28.50 per hour. We train and promote from within!

ABOUT THE POSITION
• Responsibilities center around conifer nursery production activities
• Supervise, train, and mentor team on safe and efficient work practices for packing, sowing, thinning, transplanting,

weeding and quality control for all production activities
• Manage nursery production schedules in coordination with shipping and horticulture teams
• Effectively manage production team and activities to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety
• Ensure production aligns with schedules, meets quality standards, and satisfies customer expectations
• Demonstrate best practices and lead by example in all areas of production
• Pro-actively conduct regular audits on packing and sowing production quality, appropriately communicate and

address identified issues for resolution
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with other teams to support informed decision making
• Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner
• Work alternate schedules and overtime depending on production needs

QUALIFICATIONS
• 2 years’ experience in nursery operations or related production activities with excellent work references
• Solid understanding of nursery and greenhouse systems and equipment
• Experience in safe forklift operation
• Proven record of team leadership and people management
• Strong self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a dynamic

work environment
