What You'll Do
As a Construction Crew Member, you'll help construct and repair grain storage and grain handling systems, including grain bins, conveyors, and related equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Build, assemble, and repair grain bins and grain handling equipment
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and tools
- Set up and organize construction job sites
- Operate hand tools and power tools including impacts, drills, and wrenches
- Perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Follow directions from the Crew Leader while working as part of a team
- Travel to customer job sites throughout the region
During our busy season, overtime is common because we work hard to meet customer timelines.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our shop
- Ability to meet company drug-free workplace standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction experience
- Agricultural or farming background
- Grain bin construction experience
- Grain handling equipment experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Welding experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
No grain system experience? No problem. We're willing to train motivated individuals who bring a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
