Snow Creek Farms is hiring a Crushing Plant Operator to join our team in Statesville, NC (about 40 miles north of Charlotte). In this role you will play a key role in the processing of soybeans into high-quality soybean meal and soybean oil. This position involves monitoring equipment, ensuring efficient plant operations, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with routine maintenance as needed.

What you will be doing:
- Monitor and maintain the soybean crushing process, including extruders, presses, degumming systems, and related equipment.
- Oversee the extraction of soybean meal and soybean oil to ensure quality and production standards are met.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and assist with preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Follow all plant safety procedures and company policies during each shift.
- Maintain accurate production records and communicate operational issues to management.
- Assist with general plant housekeeping and upkeep to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Support other farm and agriculture-related operations as needed.
This job is for you if you have:
- Experience in agriculture, farming, grain handling, feed manufacturing, oilseed processing, or a related industry is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, technologies, and agricultural processes.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
