Responsibilities:
- Overall day-to-day operation of the Rhoden Field Laboratory (RFL)
- Livestock care and management
- Facility/equipment maintenance and repair
- Supervise student employees
- Teaching horses and horsemanship lab
- Assisting faculty with labs
- Provide farm oversight support to supervised research projects
- Pasture and cropland management
- Sponsor ACU Riding Club

Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in Farm or Ranch Management, Animal Science, or a closely related field (required)
- Experience working with livestock and horses
- Ability to teach undergraduate lab for Horses and Horsemanship course.
- Ability to perform ongoing maintenance and repairs for the facility and equipment.
- Ability to coordinate with faculty to provide classroom needs for activities at the Rhoden Field Lab.
- Commitment to integrating faith and learning in alignment with the mission of Abilene Christian University
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collegial, student-centered approach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching and training experience for horses and horsemanship
- Work experience on a farm or ranch
- Understanding of diverse ranch and farm operations
