• Drive a Kenworth truck with trailers hauling grain locally on farm, to port and occasionally further into Southern QLD & NSW.
• Cart grain, assist with machinery operation on the farm and support seasonal farming activities.

Located in the Banana area, this well-established agricultural business operates across two successful divisions including broadacre cropping and contract harvesting. Farming more than 2,200 hectares of dryland crops including sorghum, wheat, mung beans and chickpeas the business continues to invest in modern John Deere machinery and robotics. Reporting directly to the business owners, this role offers flexibility to suit the successful applicant.

While the primary focus is carting grain locally on-farm and to port with occasional trips further south and into New South Wales, there will also be opportunities to operate farm machinery during busy periods. The position would suit an experienced MC Truck Driver who enjoys variety, is mechanically minded and is looking for long-term employment with an immediate or flexible start date.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Operate a Kenworth truck and trailers transporting grain locally and throughout QLD and NSW.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and manage minor mechanical issues where required.
• Operate tractors and other broadacre farming machinery during seasonal farm operations.
• Work safely while supporting transport and farming activities as required.

Selection Criteria:

• Current MC Driver Licence with demonstrated heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Previous experience operating agricultural machinery is highly regarded.
• Mechanically minded with the ability to identify and manage basic breakdowns or faults.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
